NOW AS A RESULT OF OUR INSURANCE COMPANY NOT TO.

HANDLING THE SITUATION PROPERLY.

WE'VE HAD TO FILE A LAWSUIT AGAINST THEM, WHICH WE DID IN APRIL OF LAST YEAR.

WE WERE LAST HERE ON NOVEMBER TEN, 2021, LAST YEAR, AND WE WERE GIVEN AN EXTENSION UNTIL OCTOBER 12TH OF THIS YEAR.

THE REASON THAT WE WERE GIVEN AN EXTENSION FOR ALMOST A YEAR WAS BECAUSE OUR TRIAL DATE WAS SET FOR SEPTEMBER 2ND.

NOW, ON FEBRUARY NINE OF THIS YEAR, THE COURT RULED ON A MOTION TO COMPEL REPAIRS, EFFECTIVELY ORDERING THE INSURANCE COMPANY TO START REPAIRS OF THE HOUSE.

HOWEVER, THE INSURANCE COMPANY HAS BEEN ORDERED INTO RECEIVERSHIP BY THE SECOND JUDICIAL CIRCUIT COURT ON MARCH 14.

SO ACCORDING TO FLORIDA STATUTE 631041, IT PLACES AN AUTOMATIC STAY ON ANY COURT PROCEEDINGS.

FOR SIX MONTHS.

NOW EVERYTHING.

ALL THE CLAIMS HAND OFF FOR THAT INSURANCE COMPANY HAVE NOW BEEN ASSIGNED OVER TO THE FLORIDA INSURANCE GUARANTY ASSOCIATION.

YOU KNOW, OUR ATTORNEYS HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH THEM.

AND CURRENTLY WE'RE WAITING TO HEAR WHAT THEIR RESOLVE IS.
